Paul Pierce: We are going to do it again




Paul Pierce of the NBA champion Boston Celtics, surprised some lucky high school student-athletes at a Modell's Sporting Goods store in Cambridge.
The lucky students got to see the 2008 championship trophy and got a Celtics shopping spree. Pierce says that he enjoys being a role model for young kids, and says he feels he isn't doing job until he puts a smile on their face.
As for Pierce, he has been smiling since the Finals, and says he'll keep smiling until someone knocks them off. He says that his knee is healthy, and is getting ready for training camp which just two weeks away.

Celtics Will Raise Banner #17 On October 28th







"I don't really remember much about it," general manager Danny Ainge said about the Celtics' 16th banner raising in 1986. "But I do remember the banner going up more than the ring ceremony or anything else. "As a player, you just want to play. You want the ring and you know it's a special time, but there is also a game to play. It's a fun time. But you spend days and weeks preparing for the game and you don't prepare for a ceremony.
